Privacy Policy

1.1 We are pleased that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest. Below we inform you about how your personal data is handled when using our website. Personal data includes all data by which you can be personally identified.

2.1 When you use our website purely for informational purposes — i.e. without registering or otherwise providing us with information — we only collect data that your browser transmits to the server (so-called “server log files”). When you access our website, we collect the following data technically required to display the website to you:

  • The page visited
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/referral from which you reached the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used (where applicable: in anonymized form)

Processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data is not passed on or used for any other purpose. We reserve the right to review the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or inquiries), this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix and the padlock symbol in your browser address bar.

For hosting our website and displaying page content, we use a provider that provides its services itself or through selected sub-contractors exclusively on servers within the European Union. All data collected on our website is processed on these servers. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our visitors’ data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies — small text files stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser (“session cookies”), while others remain on your device longer and allow saving of page settings (“persistent cookies”). In the latter case, you can find the storage duration in your browser’s cookie settings.

Where cookies process personal data, this is done pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to perform a contract, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent has been given, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website.

You can configure your browser to notify you about cookies and decide individually whether to accept them, or to exclude cookies for certain cases or generally. Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

5.1 Trustpilot

For review reminders, we use the services of: Trustpilot A/S, Pilestræde 58, 1112 Copenhagen, Denmark.

Based solely on your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we transmit your email address and, where applicable, other customer data to the provider so that they can contact you with a review reminder by email. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

5.2 WhatsApp Business

We offer you the option of contacting us via the WhatsApp messaging service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. We use the “Business version” of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp in connection with a specific transaction (e.g. an order), we store and use your mobile number and — if provided — your first and last name pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to process and respond to your inquiry. We may ask you to provide further data (order number, customer number, address, or email) to assign your request to a specific transaction.

For general inquiries, we store and use your mobile number and name pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in providing the requested information efficiently. Your data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not passed on to third parties.

Please note that WhatsApp Business accesses the address book of the mobile device used and automatically transmits stored phone numbers to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. For the operation of our WhatsApp Business account, we use a device whose address book contains only the WhatsApp contact details of users who have contacted us via WhatsApp.

Data transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with European data protection standards based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

5.3 When contacting us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquiry and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact aims at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once it can be determined that the matter has been conclusively resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

By default, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies when visiting the website. These collect certain information including your IP address, which is truncated by Google to exclude direct personal identification. The information is transmitted to Google servers and further processed, including possible transfers to Google LLC in the USA.

Google uses the collected information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services related to website and internet use. Data collected via Google Analytics 4 is stored for two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies, takes place only with your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via the “Cookie Consent Tool” on the website.

Demographic Features — Google Analytics 4 uses the “demographic features” function to create statistics about the age, gender, and interests of visitors via analysis of advertising and third-party information. Collected data cannot be attributed to any specific person and is deleted after two months.

Google Signals — As an extension of Google Analytics 4, Google Signals may be used to create cross-device reports. With your consent and if personalized ads are enabled and your devices linked to your Google account, Google may analyze your usage across devices. We receive only statistics, not personal data. To stop cross-device analysis, disable “Personalized advertising” in your Google Account settings.

UserIDs — If you have consented to Google Analytics 4 and created an account on this website, your activities including conversions may be analyzed across devices when you log in on different devices.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads and, within it, conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited. We use Google Ads to draw attention to our offers on external websites. Conversion tracking cookies are set when a user clicks on a Google Ads ad, expire after 30 days, and are not used for personal identification.

All processing takes place only with your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke consent at any time via the Cookie Consent Tool or by installing the browser plug-in available at Google’s website. Data transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8.1 Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps (API) service by Google Ireland Limited. Google Maps is used to display interactive maps and facilitate navigation to our location. When accessing pages that embed Google Maps, your IP address and usage data are transmitted to Google servers, including possible transfers to Google LLC in the USA.

If you are logged in to Google, your data will be linked directly to your account. Google stores your data even for non-logged-in users as usage profiles. You can object to the formation of these profiles by contacting Google. If you do not consent to future data transmission via Google Maps, you may disable JavaScript in your browser. Data transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8.2 Gravity Forms

For surveys and online forms, we use the services of: Rocketgenius Inc., 1620 Centerville Turnpike STE 102, Virginia Beach, VA 23464, USA.

In addition to personal data entered in forms, information about your operating system, browser, visit date and time, referrer URL, and IP address are also collected and stored on the provider’s servers. Form data is stored in a password-protected manner. For data transfers to the USA, the provider relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

9.1 Under applicable data protection law, you have the following rights with respect to processing of your personal data:

  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR

9.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT

WHERE WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON THE BASIS OF A BALANCING OF INTERESTS BASED ON OUR OVERRIDING LEGITIMATE INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO SUCH PROCESSING ON GROUNDS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA IN QUESTION. FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

WHERE YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO PROCESSING FOR SUCH PURPOSES. IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

The duration of storage of personal data is determined by the applicable legal basis, the processing purpose, and any applicable statutory retention periods (e.g. commercial and tax law retention obligations).

Data processed on the basis of explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is stored until you revoke your consent. Data subject to statutory retention periods is routinely deleted once those periods expire and the data is no longer required for contract performance.

Data processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for continued processing or the processing serves legal claims. Data processed for direct marketing on this basis is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.

Otherwise, stored personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
